Grafotronic unveils new technology at Labelexpo
Company demonstrates five machines equipped with AI-based computer vision system Grafotronic IQ
Grafotronic is presenting 10 machines at Labelexpo Europe 2023, eight of which are equipped with new technology. The company showcased Revolver, a fully automatic turret, with new modules for full in-register lamination, crossover and printing on the glue side and the DCL2 in five different configurations.
Grafotronic also demonstrating five machines equipped with AI-based computer vision system Grafotronic IQ, which allows autonomous job changes, handling all job settings automatically.
As the exclusive finishing partner in the Automation Arena at Labelexpo, Grafotronic demonstrated an IQ-equipped DCL integrated, fully automated, end-to-end converting process workflow, along with Xeikon, Esko and Cerm.
It also displayed the new Haptic series, with two new screen modules, a new hot stamping machine and the latest digital embellishment system powered by Kurz.
Additionally, Grafotronic is showcasing its sci-fi laser for the digital converting of printed labels and stickers. Also on display is its Boon technology integrated efficiency-enhancing auxiliary machines that include slitter/rewinder, fan-folding equipment, core cutter and label cutter.
