Stranco invests in a customized Lemorau MEBR+
Lemorau MEBR+ operates on a modular concept that can be developed according to each customer’s needs
Located in Northwest Indiana, Stranco has installed a fully modular Lemorau MEBR+ digital finishing machine to address the challenge of production capacity.
‘We are excited about the addition of the Lemorau MEBR+ press to our growing capabilities,’ said Steve DePalma, owner of Stranco.
‘The new Lemorau press is perfectly configured for our needs and adds both increased capacity and increased efficiency. Working with Lemorau to design the custom solution for our operation was straightforward and efficient. We’re already looking forward to our next equipment from Lemorau,’ continued DePalma.
For this project, the Lemorau MEBR+ was developed to work in both rotary and semi-rotary modes and the customer chose to add one Flexo Unit, a second die cutting station complete with pressure gauges and bearer wipers, easy strip waste rewinder, air trim remover and razor knives, as optional features.
The Lemorau MEBR+ is completely servo motored, allowing the machine to maintain constant tension and taper. It also includes as standard features – electronic web guide, splicing table with pneumatic clamps, 250 memory jobs, double rewinder and quick remote connection (QRC) software for easy access to the machine.
